These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website mubeenazam.com ("Website") and your purchase of any products or services offered by Mubeen Azam, trading as Life by Design ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing our Website, downloading our resources, purchasing our products or engaging our coaching services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Website or services.
These Terms apply globally to all users regardless of their country of residence, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your jurisdiction, which these Terms do not seek to exclude or limit.

Life Design coaching is a personal development service and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek appropriate professional support immediately.
We offer downloadable digital products including the Clarity Check and the Clarity Guide. These are delivered electronically through Payhip upon completion of payment.
We offer three coaching programmes: The Clarity Session (90 minutes), Life by Design Foundations (six weeks) and Life by Design Transformation (three months). All coaching is delivered via video call. Specific sessions, durations and inclusions are as described on our Website and Payhip product pages at the time of purchase.
The Clarity Check is available free of charge and is delivered electronically upon providing your email address. By downloading a free resource, you agree to receive follow-up emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time.
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT or taxes where required by law. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any change will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment is processed securely through Payhip and PayPal. We do not store or have access to your payment card details. All payment processing is subject to the terms and privacy policies of our payment processors.
Where a discount, promotional price or founding client rate is offered, this is valid only for the period specified and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Once a purchase is confirmed at a promotional price, that price is honoured.
All coaching packages require completion of an intake form and our approval before your purchase is processed. This is to ensure we can genuinely serve your needs. We reserve the right to decline any coaching application where we believe the service is not an appropriate fit, in which case no payment will be taken.
Every coaching engagement begins with a free 30-minute Next Chapter Call. This call carries no obligation and exists to establish mutual suitability before any commitment is made.
Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed. Please review product descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to a purchased digital product, please contact us at hello@mubeenazam.com and we will resolve it promptly.
All coaching engagements begin with a free Next Chapter Call to establish suitability. This call carries no payment and no obligation.
Once you have paid for a coaching programme, we offer a goodwill cancellation window of 48 hours from the time of payment, provided your first paid session has not yet taken place. Within this window you may cancel for a full refund, no questions asked. This is a policy we choose to offer rather than a legal requirement, and it applies in the same way regardless of where you are based.
Once your first paid session has taken place, or once the 48-hour window has passed, payments are non-refundable. This applies across all three coaching programmes, the Clarity Session, Foundations and Transformation.
We understand that life happens. Each scheduled session may be rescheduled once, with a minimum of 24 hours notice, at no extra charge. A second request to reschedule the same session will be treated as that session having been delivered; it will not be rescheduled further without an additional charge. This single-reschedule allowance applies consistently across all three coaching programmes.
Our coaching programmes, particularly Foundations and Transformation, depend on genuine engagement with the work between sessions, not only attendance at the sessions themselves. We provide the structure, the guidance and the space for change; what you do with that space is yours to own.
Where a client does not engage with the agreed work between sessions, does not attend scheduled sessions, or repeatedly seeks to reschedule beyond what is set out above, this does not constitute grounds for a refund. By the time a client reaches Foundations or Transformation, they will already have engaged with a free Next Chapter Call, and in the case of Transformation, with the Clarity Session and the Foundations programme, giving multiple opportunities to assess fit before any significant commitment is made. We reserve the right to discuss any pattern of non-engagement directly with the client, but the responsibility for doing the work remains with the client throughout.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit any right that genuinely cannot be excluded under the law of your country of residence. Our coaching is a bespoke, personalised service shaped around each individual client, and may for that reason fall outside certain cancellation rights that apply to standardised goods or services bought at a distance; this varies by jurisdiction and we make no representation as to which rights, if any, apply in your specific case. If you believe a specific statutory right applies to you, please contact us and we will consider it in good faith.
Life Design coaching is a forward-looking, collaborative process focused on personal development, clarity and intentional living. It is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy or any form of medical treatment. Mubeen Azam is not a licensed therapist, psychologist or medical professional.
Coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial or other specialist advice. If you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition, trauma, addiction or any medical issue, please seek appropriate professional support in addition to or instead of coaching.
Results from coaching vary between individuals and depend on the commitment, effort and application of the client. We make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes.
All content on mubeenazam.com and in our products, including text, images, graphics, logos, brand elements, course materials, digital resources, written frameworks, videos and any other materials, is the intellectual property of Mubeen Azam and Life by Design, protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, sell, transfer or commercially exploit any of our content without our express written permission.
Purchase of our digital products grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal licence to use the materials for your own personal development purposes only. You may not share, forward, resell or distribute our paid digital products to any third party.
Use of the Life by Design name, logo or brand elements without our written permission is strictly prohibited.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mubeen Azam and Life by Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption or any other loss arising from your use of our Website or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant product or service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mubeen Azam and Life by Design from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of our services, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive or personal information shared during the course of a coaching engagement. Mubeen Azam will not disclose any personal information shared by a client during coaching sessions to any third party without explicit consent, except where required by law or where there is a serious and credible risk of harm to the client or another person.
Clients agree to treat any proprietary frameworks, methodologies, materials and processes shared during coaching as confidential and not to reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without written permission.
Confidentiality obligations survive the termination of any coaching engagement for a period of five years.
Please note that coaching does not carry the same strict legal privilege as communications between a solicitor and client. Where Mubeen Azam is required by law to disclose information, he will do so.
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond their reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to: acts of God, extreme weather events, pandemic, epidemic, war, civil unrest, government action, power or internet outages, technical failures of third-party platforms, or any other circumstances genuinely beyond the party's reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").
In the event of a Force Majeure Event affecting the delivery of coaching services, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions at a mutually convenient time. Sessions affected by a Force Majeure Event will not be forfeited. Where services cannot reasonably be delivered within a reasonable period due to a continuing Force Majeure Event, either party may terminate the arrangement in writing, with a pro-rata refund for undelivered sessions.
Nothing in these Terms, and nothing in the provision of our coaching services, creates or shall be deemed to create a fiduciary, advisory, therapeutic, medical, legal or financial professional relationship between you and Mubeen Azam or Life by Design.
Life Design coaching is a personal development service. Mubeen Azam does not act as your financial adviser, legal adviser, therapist, psychologist, medical practitioner or any other regulated professional. Any information or perspective shared during coaching sessions reflects personal experience and a coaching framework and should not be relied upon as professional advice in any regulated field.
You are encouraged to seek appropriate professional guidance from qualified professionals for decisions in the areas of finance, law, medicine, mental health or any other specialist domain.
Any testimonials, case studies or client stories featured on our Website or promotional materials are genuine accounts from real clients. They represent individual experiences and are not guarantees of outcomes for any other client.
Results from coaching vary significantly between individuals and depend on many factors including the client's commitment, effort, openness, personal circumstances and the specific nature of the challenges they are working through. We make no warranty, expressed or implied, that you will achieve any specific result from engaging our services.
No failure or delay by Mubeen Azam or Life by Design in exercising any right, power or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right, power or remedy. A waiver of any breach of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach. No waiver shall be effective unless it is given expressly in writing.
